The Aston features a high-performance 1" (25mm) fabric dome tweeter paired with a 6" (150mm) carbon fibre mid/bass driver. This combination ensures a balanced, dynamic sound signature with exceptional clarity and depth. The tweeter delivers crisp and detailed high frequencies, while the carbon fibre mid/bass driver enhances transient response, ensuring accurate and impactful bass.
The Wharfedale Aston’s high-frequency performance is delivered by a newly designed soft dome tweeter, working in perfect harmony with the carbon fibre bass/midrange driver. Wharfedale’s expanded Cambridgeshire facility now houses Aston, its second British-made speaker in decades. A new 9000 sq. ft. production space, including an anechoic chamber, ensures top-tier British audio quality.
