Revel Concerta IW80 8 Inch In-Wall Speaker

The Revel Concerta IW80 In-Wall Speaker is the largest model in Revel’s Concerta in-wall lineup, engineered to bring true audiophile-grade sound into larger rooms where multiple smaller in-wall loudspeakers would be impractical. With an 8-inch woofer, precision tweeter and the same driver and crossover technologies found in Revel’s stand-alone floor speakers, the IW80 delivers full-range performance while remaining discreetly integrated into your wall.

Advanced Driver and Crossover Engineering

Inside the IW80 you’ll find an 8-inch (200 mm) Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) cone woofer for high output and low distortion, paired with a 1-inch (25 mm) MCC dome tweeter mounted in an integrated waveguide. With a high-order crossover network composed of premium components, the result is exceptional tonal accuracy, dynamic range and imaging far beyond typical in-wall speakers.

Tunable for Real-Room Installation

The IW80 offers built-in room-integration controls including a boundary-compensation switch to correct bass one near walls or ceilings and a three-position tweeter-level control to adjust high-frequency level depending on grille or baffle use. These features ensure the speaker performs optimally in different installation conditions.

Built-for-Purpose for Larger Rooms

Unlike many smaller in-wall models which struggle in large spaces, the IW80 is specifically designed to maintain consistent sound across a wide listening area. With its expanded driver size and capability down to approximately 40 Hz (-6 dB), it’s capable of anchoring front channels or full stereo zones in larger rooms without requiring multiple speaker clusters.
