A new low mass precision constructed vertical bearing assembly has been produced to enhance the Planar 8 turntable's intrinsic design philosophy. The newest Rega arm tube is used in the RB880. entirely modified to further minimize tensions and resonances by redistributing mass. Using CAD design to combine the various tapers, this sophisticated design tube boosts the whole assembly's stiffness and rigidity.
