Each of the 11 solid-core conductors is intricately suspended within Nordost’s patented Micro Mono-Filament structure, which is then surrounded by FEP insulation. This virtually air dielectric construction dramatically reduces signal loss and cleanly preserves subtle musical detail. 

Premium Silver-Plated Conductors for Pristine Transmission

Built using fifteen—and in this case eleven—18 AWG conductors made from 99.99999% oxygen-free copper and plated in silver, this Tyr 2 cable provides ultra-low resistance and superior conductivity.
