Nordost Norse 2 Series Heimdall 4K UHD Cable

The Nordost Heimdall 2 4K UHD Cable was engineered to deliver the full potential of 4K-compatible components. Its advanced design supports the necessary 10.2 to 18 GHz bandwidth for authentic UHD performance, eliminating jitter, timing errors, and crosstalk to faithfully reproduce every video and audio detail.

Premium Conductors Enhanced for High-Frequency Precision

Built with nineteen 25-AWG solid-core, silver-plated, ultrahigh-purity OFC conductors, this cable ensures exceptional transmission of TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling). It maintains signal integrity and minimizes loss at ultra-high frequencies.

Micro Mono-Filament Geometry for Lightning-Fast Propagation

Nordost's proprietary Micro Mono-Filament design adds a 20% increase in signal velocity. When paired with mechanically tuned lengths and a twin-axial shielded pair layout, this ensures uniform impedance, shorter, accurate signal paths, and suppressed crosstalk.

FEP Insulation and Multi-Layer Shield for Total Signal Protection

Each conductor is wrapped in fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) insulation, selected for its low dielectric loss. Coupled with a twin-axial shield, the cable provides 100% overall coverage—effectively safeguarding signals from external interference.
