The Marantz PM-12SE Special Edition Integrated Amplifier delivers powerful performance, providing 100 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers and 200 watts per channel into 4-ohm speakers. Designed for audiophiles, it combines high power with refined sound quality for an exceptional listening experience.
Current Feedback amplification is a distinguished circuit technology created by Marantz, purposefully developed to fulfill the expectations of Hi-Res music with broad bandwidth and quick reproduction of sound.

Drawing inspiration from the PM-10’s design, the PM-12SE is constructed to maximize sound purity while providing ample power to effectively drive the most demanding speakers.

This innovation results in a sound that is significantly more dynamic, accurate, and detailed. Over the years, Marantz has developed various HDAM technologies tailored to the unique requirements of amplifiers and players. The PM-12SE incorporates the latest high-grade HDAM-SA3 technology, featuring an optimized circuit layout and meticulously selected components to guarantee exceptional sound quality and performance.

The newly developed electric volume control employs the latest volume control IC technology to improve channel separation, dynamic range, and distortion reduction, while preserving the analog feel of traditional volume controls. The amplifier uses a Marantz-designed electric volume control for high linearity and outstanding channel separation.

Created to achieve the best sound quality by simplifying the signal path, the Marantz Musical Premium Phono EQ stage in the PM-12SE amplifier is suitable for both moving magnet and low-output moving coil cartridges.

Designed and rigorously tuned by a team leveraging over 65 years of expertise in Marantz amplifier development.

Created to harness improvements, preserve the cleanest sound achievable, and provide the power necessary to drive the most demanding speakers.
The Sound Masters in Japan and Europe committed themselves to extensive refinement until they were fully confident that they achieved a quality befitting the Marantz reputation.
The PM-12SE's fully analog design enhances its noise-reducing structure and clean layout. While many competitors now integrate digital-to-analogue conversion or use digital amplification and volume controls, Marantz sticks to its renowned all-analog approach for simplicity and clarity. Although adding a DAC might seem practical, digital circuits inherently generate electrical noise, which can interfere with sensitive analog signals in the amplifier. To maintain the purest signal possible, Marantz chose to exclude digital-to-analogue conversion from its Premium Series amplifiers. Additionally, the PM-12SE offers a Power Amp input, bypassing the preamp stage for use as a dedicated power amplifier.
Mirroring the high-quality construction of the SA-12SE Super Audio CD player, the PM-12SE integrated amplifier is built to exacting standards. Its front panel is crafted from thick, non-magnetic aluminium to prevent interference. The unit also features heavy, nickel-plated copper input terminals for CD and Phono, along with Marantz's own high-purity, copper-plated speaker terminals, all ensuring optimal signal transmission.
