The Epson ELPLX02S Ultra Short-Throw Lens enables supersized projection—images up to 1000-inch diagonal—while placing the projector extremely close to the screen. Designed for Epson Pro Series laser projectors with brightness between 9,000 and 20,000 lumens, it is especially useful in narrow or space-constrained settings. The ultra short throw design reduces shadows and light path obstructions, making this lens ideal for installations that need large output, but have limited depth behind or in front of the screen.

Combining 9,000-20,000 lumens projectors with a throw ratio of 0.35:1 (WUXGA) or 0.34:1 (native 4K), this lens delivers beautifully bright large images from short distances. It preserves image quality and clarity even when projecting large screen sizes, so brightness, sharpness and color saturation remain strong.
Designed for Stealth & Tight Venue Constraints
Because of its ultra short-throw and zero-offset design, the ELPLX02S works well in environments with low ceilings, constrained room depth, or where the projector must be placed close behind or above the screen. It helps minimize obstruction and allows mounting such that only the lens is visibly protruding, helping preserve aesthetics while delivering high performance.
Integration & Advanced Calibration Features
This lens has a mount point for the ELPEC01 external camera, enabling automated tools like auto color calibration, screen matching (for installations using multiple projectors), tiling assist for edge blends, and stacking assist. These features help streamline setup and maintain consistent image quality across complex multi-projector or large-venue installations.
