The AudioQuest Yukon RCA Interconnect Cable is designed as a high-performance yet practical upgrade over standard cables. It carries the lineage of AudioQuest’s Mythical Creature series by employing refined materials and circuit topology, while maintaining a focus on noise suppression, stable geometry, and tonal neutrality. Use it to link DACs, preamps, CD players, or other line-level components where clarity and low noise matter.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ Conductors

At its core, the Yukon uses Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, whose polished surfaces minimize microscopic defects and grain boundary distortions. Because the conductors are solid rather than stranded, internal strand interactions are eliminated. The result is a smoother, more transparent midrange and refined highs, with less coloration introduced by the cable itself.

Triple-Balanced Geometry & Dedicated Ground Conductor

One of the defining features of Yukon is its Triple-Balanced design. In addition to the positive and negative conductors, there's a separate ground-reference conductor—not simply a shield doing double duty. This ensures the shield is never used for signal transmission, reducing noise coupling and improving ground reference integrity across varied equipment setups.

Insulation & Noise Dissipation Strategy

Yukon’s insulation system is based on Polyethylene Air-Tube geometry, which keeps the conductor lightly suspended in air to reduce dielectric absorption. Accompanying this is a Carbon-Based 3-Layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS) that works to absorb RF/EMI noise before it can reach the signal conductors or ground. Together, these features help maintain a darker background and clearer signal.
