The AudioQuest Sydney RCA Interconnect Cable is designed to connect audio components via standard RCA jacks, but with elevated materials and design to preserve sonic purity. It carries core technologies from the Sydney series (such as Perfect-Surface Copper+ conductors and advanced insulation) into a full-size RCA format, letting your system deliver greater clarity, better imaging, and reduced noise interference.

Solid PSC+ Conductors for Low Distortion

Sydney RCA employs Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors. These ultra-smooth conductors reduce micro-imperfections and grain-boundary irregularities that often introduce distortion or harshness in lesser cables. The result is cleaner, more natural tonal balance, especially in midrange and upper frequencies.

Air-Tube Dielectric & Insulation Strategy

To preserve transient fidelity, Sydney uses Polyethylene Air-Tube insulation which increases the air fraction around the conductors, thereby reducing dielectric absorption and smearing. This insulation approach helps maintain faster attack and decay of musical signals, keeping detail intact.

Noise Mitigation & Ground-Return Control

The cable features a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS), designed to “shield the shield” by intercepting RF/EMI before they distort the ground reference. Its asymmetrical double-balanced geometry further separates signal and return paths, reducing coupling, ground current distortion, and maintaining stereo imaging integrity.
