AudioQuest Pegasus XLR Braid Audio Interconnect Cable - Pair

The AudioQuest Pegasus XLR Interconnect Cable is designed as a flagship balanced link, bringing together top-tier technologies—directional conductors, ZERO-Tech geometry, Level-6 noise dissipation, and 72 V Dielectric-Bias System (DBS)—into one XLR cable. Its engineering aims to preserve transient integrity, reduce distortion, and suppress interference in high-performance audio systems.

Direction-Controlled PSC+ Conductors

Pegasus uses direction-controlled Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, which help guide induced RF noise toward the source and avoid contamination of the signal path. The PSC+ finish reduces micro-imperfections and grain boundary effects, helping to preserve clarity and tonal purity.

Level-6 Noise Dissipation & ZERO-Tech Architecture

The cable integrates a Level-6 Linear Noise Dissipation scheme combining a carbon/graphene mesh network, silver-plated RF drain wires, and copper-plated plug barrels. The ZERO-Tech design eliminates the electrostatic field between the conductors, thus removing the concept of fixed characteristic impedance and enabling linear RF noise dissipation.

Dielectric Design & Stable Geometry

Pegasus uses polypropylene air-tube insulation, which maximizes air surrounding conductors, reducing dielectric absorption and preserving transient fidelity. The internal geometry is stabilized to maintain consistent spacing and minimize distortion even under flex or handling.
