AudioQuest Husky RCA Subwoofer Cable

The AudioQuest Husky RCA Subwoofer Interconnect Cable is tailored for low-frequency signal paths, connecting your amplifier or AV receiver to a powered subwoofer. It emphasizes clean transmission of deep bass without compromising clarity or introducing noise artifacts.

High-Purity Solid 5 % Silver Conductors

This cable uses solid copper conductors plated with 5 % silver to enhance surface conduction while avoiding the distortions associated with stranded cable designs. The solid core construction helps reduce internal distortion and preserves bass texture and articulations.

Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation for Minimal Dielectric Loss

Each conductor is wrapped in Polyethylene Air-Tube insulation, which maximizes the fraction of air around the conductor and reduces dielectric absorption. This design helps maintain clarity, transient definition, and tonal neutrality even in the lowest frequencies.

Advanced Noise Suppression & Geometry

Husky incorporates a Carbon-based multi-layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS) to shield the shield, intercepting RF/EMI before it influences the ground or signal lines. It also employs Triple-Balanced geometry, including a separate ground-reference conductor so that the shield is never used as a signal path, enhancing stability and reducing distortion. A 72 V Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) is included to polarize the insulation and reduce nonlinear dielectric distortions.
