At the heart of the HD6 Carbon is a solid conductor with 5% silver plating, built on AudioQuest’s Long-Grain Copper (LGC). Four-Layer Shielding — Maximum Protection Against Interference
To guard against RF and electromagnetic interference (EMI), the cable uses a 4-layer shield system: carbon-loaded polyethylene + foil + 90% braid + an additional foil layer.
