Conductor and Material Engineering

At the core of the Forest cable are solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors. These solid cores reduce distortion due to strand interactions and limit conduction-related anomalies. The purity and structure of the conductor material help ensure accurate and stable transmission of digital signals across the cable’s length.

Noise Control & Shielding Strategy

This cable deploys AudioQuest’s Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation System, which acts as a shielding the shield mechanism to absorb and deflect radio-frequency and electromagnetic interference. This reduces the influence of external noise sources on the digital data stream. The cable is directionally optimized so that noise drains in an intended direction rather than contaminating the sensitive circuitry.

Dielectric & Insulation Design

Forest uses Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) insulation, which is nitrogen-infused and achieves a high air fraction to lower dielectric absorption. The insulation’s rigidity ensures consistent conductor spacing and impedance stability, reducing distortion due to dielectric fluctuations or microphonic effects.
