AudioQuest Diamond USB-A to USB-B High-Definition Audio Cable

The AudioQuest Diamond USB-A to B Digital Audio Cable is AudioQuest’s flagship USB interconnect, designed to carry digital audio signals with exceptional fidelity. It combines ultra-pure conductors, advanced shielding, and cutting-edge insulation and biasing technologies to deliver a refined, low-noise, high-resolution connection from USB sources (like PCs or streamers) to DACs or USB audio interfaces.

Ultra-Pure Conductor Design

This cable employs solid Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) conductors—100 % silver, not merely silver-plated—to minimize grain-boundary distortion. Because solid cores eliminate strand interactions, the signal path remains exceptionally clean and precise, especially for high-frequency digital edges.

Multi-Layer Noise Dissipation System

To combat radio-frequency interference (RFI) and preserve signal integrity, the Diamond cable includes a carbon-based 3-layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). It effectively “shields the shield,” absorbing and redirecting noise before it can modulate the ground reference or affect the signal path.

Dielectric Bias & Insulation Technology

The cable features a 72 V Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) to stabilize the insulation’s electric field and reduce nonlinear dielectric behavior.  The insulation itself is based on Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) or foamed materials, with nitrogen injection or air content to minimize dielectric absorption and distortion.
