Premium Conductor Construction for Ultra-Clean Transmission
At the heart of the Coffee Coax is a conductor system using solid 10% silver-plated long-grain copper. Solid conductors minimise strand-interaction distortion, especially crucial at high frequencies where signal travels on the surface of the conductor. The result is improved clarity, resolution and timbral accuracy in digital audio reproduction.
Advanced Noise-Dissipation and Shielding Technology
Digital signals are vulnerable to radio-frequency interference (RFI) and ground-reference modulation which can compromise audio quality. The Coffee Coax features a carbon-based multi-layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS), combining alternating metal and carbon-loaded synthetics that shield the shield and drain noise before it reaches your gear.
Dielectric and Geometry Optimisation for Lower Distortion
The Cable uses hard-cell foam insulation to maintain conductor geometry, minimise dielectric absorption and keep impedance characteristics stable over length. Furthermore, it includes a 72 V Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) to stabilise the insulation environment, which helps reduce time-based distortion (jitter) and keep the digital waveform intact.
