AudioQuest Cherry Cola 48 Long-Length High Speed Active Optical HDMI 2.1 Cable

The AudioQuest Cherry Cola 48 HDMI Cable is an active optical HDMI cable engineered to deliver the full 48 Gbps HDR bandwidth with minimal loss over extended distances. By combining optical transmission for the high-speed channels with traditional copper for control and power lines, it preserves signal integrity where passive cables may struggle.

Pure Silver Conductors in the Signal Chain

Cherry Cola uses 100 % Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) conductors for the A/V signal paths. Silver’s high conductivity and the perfect-surface treatment reduce distortion from grain boundaries, allowing finer detail and smoother tonal balance—especially across high-bandwidth video and audio formats.

Hybrid Design: Optical + Copper for Reliability

This cable pairs optical cores (for the heavy data streams) with copper conductors for control, eARC, CEC, and power rails. This hybrid architecture offers the best of both worlds—optical immunity to electromagnetic interference and copper’s robust handling for logic lines.

Level-6 Noise Dissipation & Shielding

To manage interference, Cherry Cola incorporates Level-6 Noise Dissipation techniques, employing carbon/graphene meshes, shielding layers, and directional drains. This “shield the shield” approach helps keep RF and EMI from modulating the ground or contaminating synchronisation signals.
