The AudioQuest Boxer RCA Subwoofer Cable is engineered specifically for low-frequency paths, connecting your AV receiver, amplifier, or processor to your powered subwoofer. It’s designed to preserve detail, dynamics, and low-noise operation even over longer cable runs—ensuring that the deep bass portion of your audio system is as clear and expressive as the rest.

Solid Silver-Plated Conductors for Clarity

Boxer features solid 1.25 % silver-plated copper conductors, which help reduce distortion from strand interaction and maintain excellent surface conduction. This design leverages benefits of silver in a controlled way—improving transient definition and articulation in bass frequencies—while retaining stability and cost efficiency.

Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation & Low Dielectric Loss

To minimize dielectric absorption and signal smearing, Boxer uses Polyethylene Air-Tube insulation, which introduces a high proportion of air around conductors. This design approach helps the cable remain neutral, preserving transient speed and clarity even in deep-bass signals.

Double-Balanced Geometry & Noise Dissipation

The cable employs double-balanced geometry, separating shield and ground paths to reduce ground current distortion. In addition, it includes a Carbon-based 3-Layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS), which “shields the shield” by intercepting RF/EMI before they modulate the ground reference, keeping the signal cleaner and quieter.
