AudioQuest Black Lab RCA Low-Frequency Subwoofer Cable

The AudioQuest Black Lab RCA Subwoofer Interconnect Cable is purpose-built to transmit deep bass signals from your AV receiver or amplifier to a powered subwoofer. Its construction emphasizes low distortion, noise rejection, and stable performance over long runs, so that the full impact of your system’s low end can be delivered cleanly.

Solid Long-Grain Copper Conduction for Cleaner Bass

At the heart of its design are solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors. These solid single-piece cores help eliminate distortion from strand interaction or grain boundary irregularities, resulting in smoother, more accurate bass compared to cables using conventional stranded copper.

Foamed-Polyethylene Dielectric & Signal Integrity

To protect against dielectric absorption and smearing of musical transients, the Black Lab uses foamed-polyethylene insulation. This design maximizes the air content around the conductors, reducing stored energy and preserving clarity, particularly in low frequencies.

Noise Dissipation & Shielding

This cable incorporates AudioQuest’s Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). The shielding structure is designed not just for 100% coverage, but to intercept and redirect RF/EMI noise before it reaches the ground reference, reducing modulation of the audio signal.

Key Features
  • Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors
  • Foamed-polyethylene insulation for lower dielectric absorption
  • Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS) shielding
  • Symmetrical coax geometry (identical + and − conductors)
  • Cold-welded, gold-plated RCA connectors
  • Built-in ground tail (spade lugs) for hum elimination
  • Available in multiple lengths (2 m, 3 m, 8 m, 12 m, etc.)
